Whether you are an experienced player or someone that wants to try rugby for the first time, you are always welcome to join Helsinki Rugby Club. You can find information about the times, locations and what you need for training below.
For training, you will only need durable sports clothing (something that won’t rip during practice). It’s best to avoid clothing with metal zips and buckles.
During winter months, we train indoors on artificial grass, so moulded studs are the best for gripping the surface. During summer months, we train outdoors on regular grass, so moulded studs or normal football boots are just fine. Protective gum shields are recommended during all contact training and matches.
